Atmosphériques is a series of gestural paintings on silk, created while the artist was in-residence at Cité Internationale des Arts Paris, 2024. The paintings are in-dialogue with corporal images, choreographic concepts and ecological imagery that inspire the artist. The painting is a ‘surface of exchange’ between the body and ecological matter, such as pigments of stone, soil, plants, shells. The vivacity of the materials speaks in concert with the movement of dance.
